Inter are closely watching the development of Benfica youngster Darwin Nunez along with many other big clubs, according to a report in the Portuguese media today.

As has been reported by the Portuguese news website, Record, the Uruguayan forward looks set to become the subject of an almighty bidding war containing multiple European sides.

Inter are just one of the teams who are deeply interested in the 19-year-old who scored twice against Barcelona in the Champions League on Wednesday night when Benfica beat them 3-0.

AC Milan and Atletico Madrid are rumoured to be interested as well, but scouts from over 10 different top European teams were present at the match against Barcelona to watch the youngster.

As for the price, he has a release clause of €40 million which given the level of performance he has shown so far and the amount of teams interested in him, is a very low figure.
