Inter are devising a plan to try and get their South American players back to the country in time for the Serie A match against Lazio after the international break, according to a report in the Italian print media.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, Inter want to charter a private plane to take the players from the South American continent directly to Rome so that they can immediately meet up with the arriving Inter squad who will travel down from Milan.

The ambitious plan is necessary because Inter have five players who will be playing for their countries a day or two before the match against Lazio.

Their fitness will be one issue, but Inter at least wants to have them in Rome and available for selection f possible.

The five players in question are Chilean duo Alexis Sanchez and Arturo Vidal, Argentinian duo Lautaro Martinez and Joaquin Correa, and the Uruguayan midfielder, Matias Vecino.
