Italy coach Roberto Mancini has called up two Inter stars for his next Azzurri squad who will be attempting to win another trophy in October, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by FcINternews, the two players that the ex-Inter boss has chosen are Nicolo Barella and Alessandro Bastoni.

Both players were part of the Italy squad that won the European Championship in the summer, beating England in the final at Wembley Stadium in a penalty shoot-out.

Nicolo Barella was a key part of that squad but Alessandro Bastoni did not see too much action as Roberto Mancini favoured the duo of Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci.

Italy will face Spain in the Nations League semi-final on Wednesday 6th October in Milan. The following day, France will take on Belgium in the other semi-final in Turin.

This is only the second-ever time that the Nations League finals have taken place.
