Inter are set to announce the appointment of a new Financial Director in the form of Andrea Accinelli, who will join the club in his role immediately and work under Corporate CEO Alessandro Antonello.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that Accinelli will take over the role previously held by departed Chief Financial Officer Tim Williams.
Accinelli is a Business Administration graduate from Milan-based univeristy Bocconi University, and he has experience working for the Brooks Brothers clothing company as well as other managerial experiences across a number of sectors.
Williams departed from his role at the club in February, joining the sports crowdfunding company Tifosy, and the appointment of a new director in the role had been anticipated for some time with Accinelli having been thought to be the likeliest candidate to take over from the former CFO, and this should be confirmed soon.
