Edin Dzeko is currently the favourite to start in attack for Inter during the Nerazzurri’s match against Sassuolo ahead of Joaquin Correa.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the Bosnian is ahead of the Argentine in the thinking of coach Simone Inzaghi, while the likes of Matteo Darmian and Ivan Perisic are likelier to start in the wide positions than Denzel Dumfries and Federico Dimarco respectively.

There are few major selection dilemmas for Inzaghi, with the goalkeeper and back three expected to be the same four players as in the last few games, and Lautaro Martinez to start up front with Dzeko and Correa in contention to partner him.

In midfield, the likes of Nicolo Barella and Marcelo Brozovic will keep their places from the Nerazzurri’s midweek Champions League draw with Shakhtar Donetsk, while Hakan Calhanoglu is expected to come in for Matias Vecino alongside them.
