FC Sheriff Tiraspol player Sebastian Thill has hinted that his side are not putting too much thought into their upcoming matches against Inter in the Champions League, according to a report in the Russian print media.

Speaking during an interview with Russian newspaper Sport Express, the midfielder from Luxembourg explained that the teams focus is now entirely on their next fixture in their domestic league rather than the Champions League.

“We think about one game at a time and don’t think about what will happen in two months. Let’s not forget that now we will have to face the toughest match against Milsami in the Moldovan championship.

“We are fighting for the championship against them, so we don’t have time to relax and now we are focused on this clash.

“When the time comes, then we will prepare and think about the match against Inter.”

FC Sheriff and Inter will face each other twice back to back in the Champions League in the coming weeks.

It was not expected by anyone, but FC Sheriff are currently top of the Champions League group having beaten both Shakhtar Donetsk and Real Madrid.

It was Sebastian Thill who scored the winning goal against Real Madrid in the final minute of their clash in the Bernabeu.

Inter are third in the group having only registered one point so far in two games.
