Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi is set to hand Edin Dzeko a start against Sassuolo in the Nerazzurri’s clash with the Neroverdi this evening.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, who report that the 45-year-old will likely choose to rely on the Bosnian rather than on fellow forward Joaquin Correa in the Nerazzurri’s trip to Emilia-Romagna.

Inzaghi will have a mind to the matches approaching after the international break, with vital clashes against the likes of Lazio and Juventus in the league either side of a Champions League match against Sheriff Tiraspol which is virtually a must-win.

The Corriere predicts that for this evening’s match the coach will opt to partner Lautaro Martinez with Dzeko, with the Bosnian ready to retain his starting spot from the last few matches ahead of the now-fit Joaquin Correa, although Inzaghi could have to make full use of his squad going forward.
