Italian journalist Mario Sconcerti believes that Inter have a lot of quality even though they have only managed to express it at times, and have at points failed to get the right results.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster TMW Radio, Sconcerti gave the view that Inzaghi’s Nerazzurri side are still seeking the right balance as the manager looks to implement a tactical system at the club, with mixed results.

Inzaghi arrived from Lazio at the beginning of the summer, with the former Biancocelesti coach the man entrusted to take over the team from Antonio Conte following the latter’s departure.

So far the Nerazurri have shown both similarities and differences to the team which won the Scudetto under Conte, and as Sconcerti emphasizes, has looked to be trying out new approaches from game to game and particularly between fixtures in Serie A and those in Europe.

He believes that the former Lazio boss is still working out what he wants this Inter side to look like, though the coach has a quality squad at his disposal.

Sconcerti stated that right now Inter “alternate great results in the league with missteps in Europe. They are a team that have not yet found they exact playing structure. But they have a lot of quality.”
