Italian journalist Matteo Marani has explained that there are four teams that could win the Scudetto this season and that Inter are one of them, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.
Whilst speaking in the Sky Sport studios, Matteo Marani explained that any of AC Milan, Napoli, Inter, and Atalanta could win the Serie A title this season.
“I see four strongest teams: one is Napoli, then there is Inter, which being Italian champions must be placed there. Then I put AC Milan, which seems to be the fastest-growing of all, but also Atalanta.”
He thinks that it will be a much more even title race in comparison to last year where Inter wee clearly going to win from around February onwards.
“Compared to last year, where there were two stronger teams like Conte’s Inter and Juventus who, however, failed to express themselves, I see more equilibrium.”
Napoli have made the strongest start to the campaign so far out of everyone by winning all six of their opening fixtures.
AC Milan are second having won five and drawn just one, and Inter are next as they have drawn two games against Sampdoria and Atalanta but won the other four.
The title is very likely to go down to the wire.
