Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi has named a 24-man squad for tonight’s Match Day 7 clash in the Serie A at the Mapei stadium when Sassuolo host the Nerazzurri, kick-off scheduled for 20.45 CET.

This according to Inter Milan’s official homepage who moments ago released a statement confirming the names of the 24 Nerazzurri players who will fight for a place in the starting lineup tonight away against Sassuolo.

It is an expected squad with Stefano Sensi and Christian Eriksen the only two players who have not been called as expected.

Stefano Sensi is expected to return to full training after the international break whilst Christian Eriksen’s future is still very much in the air following the medical emergency he suffered during Euro 2020.

Inter are currently third in the Serie A on 14 points whilst Sassuolo are in 12th place on seven points, after the first six matches of the 2021/2022 season.

The Nerazzurri have won four and drawn two matches so far whilst the Neroverdi have won two, drawn 1 and lost three matches.

Inter Milan are the highest scoring team in the Serie A with 20 goals so far this season, whilst Sassuolo have managed to find the net six times, with both teams having conceded seven goals.

Sassuolo have lost three of their last four matches in the Serie A, winning their last match against Salernitana. Inter on the other hand, have won two and drawn two of their last four matches in the Serie A, drawing last weekend against Atalanta.
