Alexis Sanchez feels undervalued at Inter, with the Chilean having made a post on his Instagram story after yesterday’s match against Sassuolo in which he appeared to hit out at the team for not having played despite being fit.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, who report that the 32-year-old showed his frustration in the post made after the match.

Sanchez has been fit for some time now following a lengthy absence recovering from a calf injury, but he has not yet started for the Nerazzurri despite having come off the bench in a number of matches.

Against the Neroverdi, however, he did not even appear from the bench, as he remained an unused substitute while watching his team complete a comeback win at the Mapei Stadium.

The Chilean does not appear to be a regular in Simone Inzaghi’s preferred starting eleven, and yesterday’s match could be evidence that he is also not considered a consistent appearance-maker from the bench, behind three other players in attack.

The player looks to be unhappy with this state of affairs, posting on his Instagram story with a picture of a car in  state of neglect accompanied by the caption “Realize it. You can be worth a lot, but if you are in the wrong place you will not shine,” though he went on to delete the post.
