Edin Dzeko was the key man in Inter’s 2-1 comeback win over Sassuolo at the Mapei Stadium according to Italian media.

The Bosnian was given a grade of 7.5/10 by Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport in their player ratings for the match published in today’s print edition, the highest score received by any Nerazzurri player.

Dzeko’s impact was virtually instantaneous, finding an equalizer with his first touch upon coming on as a substitute in the second half and also winning the decisive penalty in an excellent display.

Meanwhile, Ivan Perisic was rated as the Nerazzurri’s second best performer on the night, with the Croat receiving a score of 7/10 for a display which saw him assist Dzeko’s equalizer with a great cross and overall show a lot of energy and positivity.

On the other hand, the defensive line came in for criticism, with all three central defenders receiving scores of 6 and under in a match which saw them barely hold together against the Neroverdi’s pressure.
