Milan Skriniar was Inter’s worst performer in their 2-1 win against Sassuolo, according to Italian media.

The Slovak defender’s display was only deemed to be worthy of a score of 5/10 in the player ratings for the match in today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who criticize him for struggling defensively.

Skriniar had trouble coping with Sassuolo Jeremie Boga for much of the evening, culminating in conceding the penalty from which the Neroverdi opened the scoring due to a clumsy challenge on the Ivorian.

By contrast, substitute Edin Dzeko was awarded a 7.5/10 score for his match-winning display in which he scored the equalizer with his first touch of the match less than a minute after coming on.

Meanwhile, the likes of Ivan Perisic and Nicolo Barella were given 6.5/10 for satisfactory outings which saw them give the team much of its attacking impetus and energy from their places in the starting eleven.
