Inter have managed to take points from three consecutive Serie A matches in which they entered the interval facing a goal deficit.

The Nerazzurri managed to win against Fiorentina and draw with Atalanta before taking all three points following a second half comeback against Sassuolo yesterday evening.

Footbal stats account Opta highlighted in a tweet that this record of comebacks is unprecedented in the Nerazzurri’s Serie A history, with their turnaround against the Neroverdi further evidence of the team’s new mentality.

The tweet reads, “3 – Inter have avoided the defeat in three league games in a row after having closed the first half behind for the first time in their Serie A history. Stubborn.”
