Inter could be one step closer to bringing in long-term target Giacomo Raspadori from Sassuolo, with the Neroverdi having reportedly identified young Pisa striker Lorenzo Lucca as his replacement.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the two young strikers could be involved in a chain of transfers over the summer with Sassuolo now seeing Lucca as their preferred target to replace Raspadori.

Raspadori has been a target for Inter for some time, with the 21-year-old having been linked to the club in the summer before they ultimately moved on to other targets.

Lucca has also emerged as a target for the Nerazzurri in recent weeks with his form in Serie B where he has scored six goals in seven appearances having caused a number of top clubs in Italy to take notice.

However, it could be Sassuolo who move for the Pisa man, who joined his current club from Palermo in the summer, and this could free up Raspadori to make the switch to Inter.

The Nerazzurri will likely return for Raspadori next summer, unless Alexis Sanchez is to depart in the January transfer window in which case they could move for him even earlier, and now it looks as though Sassuolo have a replacement lined up.
