Inter forward Alexis Sanchez is likely to be on his way out from the club in January as he is not a central figure in the plans of head coach Simone Inzaghi.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the player does not feel that the manager is putting his full faith in him and would like to depart in search of a more regular role at a different club.

Sanchez made a post after the Nerazzurri’s match with Sassuolo over the weekend in which he appeared to hit out at the club for his lack of playing time, having been an unused substitute at the Mapei Stadium.

The Chilean is not happy with his current situation, and it remains unlikely that things will change much as Inzaghi does not see him as a regular starter at the club.

Sanchez is currently on international duty, but when he returns his situation with his club will resume, and with the player wanting a more central role and the club willing to let him go given the substantial wages he earns, an exit during the January transfer window looks to be on the cards.
