Croatian national team head coach Zlatko Dalic expects the two Inter players Marcelo Brozovic and Ivan Perisic in his squad to be important contributors as he looks to qualify for the 2022 World Cup.

Speaking in a press conference, as reported by FCInterNews, the coach explained that he expects the Nerazzurri duo to be important contributors in his squad as he looks to guide his side to qualification top of their group.

Brozovic and Perisic have each grown to become important players for Inter since their arrival in the winter and summer of 2015 respectively, with each having played a role in last season’s Scudetto win and each having made a bright start to this campaign.

Alongside their club endeavours, both men have also played important roles for their national team at the last several tournaments, including each starting in the 2018 World Cup final in France.

Dalic expects their important role to continue as he looks to guide the team to their third straight World Cup.

He explained, “Luka Modric will be back with us, then there are Marcelo Brozovic, Mateo Kovacic, Ivan Perisic. We haven’t conceded a goal for a while, so we have to go on like this. We have to be disciplined and pay attention even to the weaker teams. There is a lot of good, but we have to continue like this. In November, difficult matches await us.”
