Inter striker Lautaro Martinez is expected to start for the Argentine national team in their World Cup qualifier against Paraguy on Thursday night.

This according to Argentine broadcaster TyC Sports, who report that the 24-year-old will likely be part of Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni’s starting eleven for the match, while his Nerazzurri partner Joaquin Correa is set to start on the bench.

Martinez has been a regular fixture in Scaloni’s starting team for the Albiceleste, including having started in the Copa America final during the summer, and this is likely to continue as he will not be given a rest with the coach looking to put the rubber stamp on qualification with his strongest team.

The Inter man, who has bagged five goals in six goals for his club so far this season, is likely to start alongside PSG stars Lionel Messi and Angel Di Maria in a front three.

TyC Sports’ predicted starting eleven for the fixture is as follows:

ARGENTINA (4-3-3): E. Martínez; Montiel, Romero, Otamendi, Acuña; De Paul, Paredes, Lo Celso; Di María, Lautaro Martínez, Messi.
