AC Milan defender Simon Kjaer has given an update about his international teammate, Inter midfielder Christian Eriksen, who he says is doing fine.

Speaking in a press conference as reported by FCInterNews, the Rossoneri defender explained that Eriksen will give updates when he feels ready to do so.

Kjaer is the captain of the Danish national team in Eriksen’s absence, with the Inter midfielder having been unable to return to football since his health emergency during the Euros.

The two remain close and Kjaer was able to speak about how the Nerazzurri man is doing, but also made clear that he does not yet wish to speak to the public as he recovers.

It is not yet clear when or if Eriksen will be able to return to football at the club or international level, but for now his teammates as well as fans will be happy to hear that he is doing well.

Kjaer explained, “I met him, but I will say the same things as before – when he is ready to say something, he will. For now the situation is this, he is fine.”
