Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin believes that Inter may have a hard time parting ways with forward Alexis Sanchez despite the difficult situation that they and the player find themselves in.

Speaking on Katia Nicotra’s YouTube channel, as reported by FCInter1908, Biasin gave the view that the Nerazzurri would have already seen the Chilean move on if they could but that this has not proved possible.

Sanchez is currently in a period of difficulty at Inter, having made a social media post in which he appears to hit out at the club for the lack of playing time he has gotten.

The 32-year-old does not look to be one of the first-choice options in Simone Inzaghi’s attack, and he could leave the club as early as January for a new team at which he has a more central role.

This is not the first time that Sanchez has been linked away, however, and the player’s wages have already made it difficult to find a new club for him, so he could well remain a Nerazzurri player for the duration of his current contract despite difficulties.

“I don’t want to sound bad, but if Inter could get rid of him they would have done so already,” Biasin stated about Sanchez.

“Inter would be happy to get rid of his heavy contract.”
