The date for Inter’s Super Cup final match against Juventus might be the 22nd December, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by football finance experts Calcio e Finanza, the match date would clash with a round of Serie A fixtures and the league have not yet accepted that proposal.

Inter should be facing Torino on that date but may have to find a new date to fulfil that fixture instead.

The match happens each year and features the winners of Serie A from the previous season up against the winners of the previous season’s Coppa Italia, meaning it is Inter vs Juventus.

The match will be played in Saudi Arabia as part of a sponsorship deal with the tournament to build interest in Italian football in the Middle East.

The match will be shown on Mediaset as they purchased the rights for the one-match tournament.
