Inter are averaging more than three goals a game so far this season which is more than any other team in Serie A, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

As has been reported by the club’s official television channel, Inter TV, the Nerazzurri have scored 22 goals so far in Serie A, which is four more than the next highest scorers, Napoli.

They also appear to be showing better fitness than other teams as 60% of the goals have come in the second half of matches.

The goals have been spread around the team which managers always like to see, with 11 different Inter players having found the back of the net so far.

Edin Dzeko is the league’s top scorer with six goals in just seven appearances, and he is followed by strike partner Lautaro Martinez who has scored five times.

This all suggests Inter are coping so far without Romelu Lukaku.
