Inter are looking to a future without Chilean duo Arturo Vidal and Alexis Sanchez as they are the two highest paid players at the club, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported today by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the two Chilean’s are starting to become a major issue for Inter in the sense that they take up a huge proportion of the current wage budget, but are only part of Simone Inzaghi’s backup team.

When all players are fit and available for Inter, neither of the two Chileans would be expected to be in the starting eleven, but Alexis Sanchez earns €7 million a season and Arturo Vidal earns €6.5 million a season.

After his outburst on social media after the Sassuolo game, Inter are exploring the possibility of terminating Alexis Sanchez’s contract to get a clean break from the player, rather than wait to strike a deal with another club.
