The mural of ex-Inter strikers Romelu Lukaku and Zlatan Ibrahimovic going head to head near San Siro has been painted over to advertise a new film instead, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by FcINternews, the mural has been covered up and replaced with the protagonists from a new film called Venom: Let There Be Carnage which is due to be released in cinemas on October 14th.

The mural in question was painted after a Coppa Italia match last season between Inter and AC Milan which saw a major flashpoint and argument between Romelu Lukaku and a former inter striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The two pressed their heads together during the altercation and that moment was then, seemingly, immortalised on a wall near San Siro.

Now that Romelu Lukaku has left the club for Chelsea, there was no opposition to the mural being painted over.
