An Italian football coach has suggested that Andrea Pinamonti learnt a lot during the previous season at Inter but now most prove himself, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

As has been reported by TWW Radio, Guido Carboni explained that the year under Antonio Conte last season that Andrea Pinamonti experienced was very important for his development.

Now that he is on loan at Empoli, though, he must prove that he belongs in Serie A and can perform at this level consistently.

“I think the year at Inter helped a lot for Pinamonti, with Conte. Now he has to prove that he belongs in Serie A and there is no better place for him.”

Andrea Pinamonti is a graduate of Inter’s academy but has never quite managed to establish himself in the Nerazzurri first team. That is why once Edin Dzeko and Joaquin Correa had been signed, he was finally allowed to join Empoli on loan instead.

He has scored one goal so far for the newly-promoted side and will be hoping to help them stay in the division.
