Inter will now turn their attention to midfield duo Marcelo Brozovic and Nicolo Barella when it comes to offering out contract extensions to key players in the squad, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported today by Tuttosport, Inter have finally finalised an agreement with Lautaro Martinez to more than double his salary, so they can now focus on other contract extensions.

Marcelo Brozovic is the main priority as his deal runs out in June 2022 meaning there is a risk of losing him on a free transfer.

It is thought he will be offered around €4.5 million a season, which is similar to the amount that will likely be offered to Italian midfielder Nicolo Barella.

The other players who are likely to be involved in contract talks within the next few months include defensive duo Milan Skriniar and Stefan de Vrij, as well as a short extension for Samir Handanovic.
