The captain of Serie B side Pisa has been speaking glowingly about Inter transfer target Lorenzo Lucca who has had a remarkable start to the season, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Whilst speaking to Sky Sport, Pisa captain Robert Gucher explained that Lorenzo Lucca arrived at the club seeming very experienced despite only being 21-years-old.

He also mentioned that he has a clear desire to break through to the top of the game as soon as he can, saying: “He arrived as an experienced player, with the desire to break through to reach the top as soon as possible.”

Pisa are surprise leaders at the top of Serie B so far having won six of their first seven games, and drawing the other one. They are four points ahead of second placed Cremonese.

A key part of that has been the six goals that Lorenzo Lucca has scored in those seven games as well as one assist.

This has put him firmly on the radar of many Serie A clubs.
