Some South American teams are contemplating bringing Alexis Sanchez back to the continent after his recent issues in Italy, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported today by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Chilean side Colo Colo and Argentinian side River Plate have been put on high alert after Alexis Sanchez took to Instagram to bemoan his lack of playing time at Inter after the win over Sassuolo in Serie A.

Brazilian sides Flamengo and Palmeiras are also viable destinations for Alexis Sanchez should he decide that his time in Europe has come to an end.

That does not appear to be the case of far, though, as the Chilean feels he can remain in Europe for another two seasons at least. By then, he will be 34-years-old.

His injury record may mean he is not given that opportunity by a European team, forcing him to head to South America.
