The impressive form of Edin Dzeko is helping Inter fans to forget about Romelu Lukaku now that he has left the club, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the Bosnian striker has picked up the baton excellently and is a large part of why Simone Inzaghi’s Inter are the highest scorers in Serie A this season.

Edin Dzeko has already scored six goals in seven games since he joined Inter on a free transfer from AS Roma towards the end of the summer transfer window.

He has also been able to link up with the midfielders in the team much more effectively than Romelu Lukaku used to be able to do.

The only downside to him is that with his advanced age, he cannot be expected to play every game all season long like the Belgian forward could.
