Inter are hoping that the Argentinian FA might release Lautaro Martinez from their camp early due to the muscle injury he has suffered in training, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, Inter are seriously concerned about getting their SOuth American stars back to Italy in time for their clash with Lazio in Serie A.

As things stand, the five players in question are not expected back until the day before the match in Rome at the Stadio Olimpico, meaning they will almost certainly not be fit to play.

The injury that Lautaro Martinez has suffered has added even more anxiety to the situation, so the club want him to come home early so they can work on his fitness with him in Italy.

That would allow them to potentially get him fit and back in time for the Lazio match.
