Both Inter and Juventus are looking to bring Ajax defender Perr Schuurs to Serie A during the January transfer window, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported today by Calciomercato.com, Perr Schuurs has seen limited game time this season under Erik ten Hag and is now very keen on leaving the club.

He is only 21 years of age and despite being contracted to Ajax until 2025, could be available for relatively cheap given he is clearly not a key player for the Dutch side.

Simone Inzaghi has not been rotating his three favoured centre backs very much during the season so far and that may be because he does not trust his other options at the back.

This deal may allow him to give more of a rest to the three main defenders and also lessen the blow of Andrea Ranocchia’s contract ending at the end of the season.
