Inter executives had a discussion two weeks ago with the representatives of Torino striker Andrea Belotti who seems destined to leave the club, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by FcINternews today, Inter laid out a proposal to the player at the end of the summer transfer window but ended up signing Joaquin Correa from Lazio instead.

They have then held discussions with the Italian striker as recently as two weeks ago as it seems clear that the player will not sign a new contract with Torino.

His current deal expires in June 2022 which means he is available for free which is very attractive to many clubs, so Inter are not the only side interested in him.

The Torino President Urbano Cairo admitted recently that he does not expect Andrea Belotti to extend his stay with the Turin-based club, opening the door to an exit.
