Inter and the representatives of Marcelo Brozovic have agreed on a date where the two parties can meet and hopefully finalise the midfielder’s contract extension, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by FcINternews today, the two parties will meet in Milan on the 14th of October ahead of the Lazio match, barring no unforeseen delays.

The meeting will contain Inter executives such as Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio, as well as Marcelo Brozovic’s father who is also his agent, Ivan Brozovic.

There is serious interest in the Croatian from teams such as Paris Saint Germain and Chelsea but there is confidence among Inter executives that the deal will be done because the player wants to remain at Inter.

It is expected that the new deal will see Marcelo Brozovic earn around €5 million per season or potentially slightly more if Ivan Brozovic emphasises the interest from other clubs.
