Legendary former Roma, Real Madrid, and Inter striker Antonio Cassano believes that current Nerazzurri striker Edin Dzeko has more to offer than former striker Romelu Lukaku.

Speaking on Christian Vieri’s twitch channel, the 39-year-old gave the view that the Bosnian adds something to the team which Lukaku did not.

Lukaku’s departure in the summer led to many believing that the Nerazzurri would not be able to cope in attack with his absence, given that the Belgian had led Serie A in joint goals and assists.

However, Dzeko has impressed since his summer arrival from Roma, with six goals in seven matches suggesting that the task of leading the line for Inter is not beyond him.

For Cassano, the style of play that Dzeko brings is special even not considering his goal tally, and he gave his view that he prefers the Bosnian to the now-Chelsea man Lukaku.

Of Lukaku he stated that “I prefer Dzeko, others can score three goals per game but I don’t like them as much.”
