Inter could face Juventus in the Supercoppa Italiana on December 22 in Saudi Arabia, with the two clubs currently discussing the possibility.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the date and location of the fixture could be confirmed after it was suggested by Saudi Arabia.

Inter will compete in this season’s Supercoppa as last season’s Serie A winners, while Juventus earned their spot in the match through winning the Coppa Italia.

It has not yet been confirmed when and where the competition will take place, although it is thought that the teams prefer holding it abroad to playing in Italy for commercial reasons.

Should the situation with television broadcasting rights in Saudi Arabia be resolved then the Nerazzurri and the Bianconeri could agree on the location for the fixture.

Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri are still waiting for stadiums to be open at 100% in Italy before they make any decisions on season tickets.
