Legendary former Inter defender Beppe Bergomi believes that Inter-linked Pisa striker is a player with real quality, and worth tracking for the future.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster TMW Radio, the Nerazzurri legend gave his thoughts on the young striker as well as praising current Inter midfielder Nicolo Barella.

Lucca is reported to be one of the Nerazzurri’s targets in attack as they look to bolster the squad in forward areas with young talent who have room to grow.

The 21-year-old has gotten off to an impressive start at Pisa, scoring six goals in seven matches since his arrival from Palermo, and this form ha attracted the attention of a number of top Italian clubs including Inter.

Bergomi believes that the interest in Lucca is warranted and that the young attacker has all the attributes necessary to become a top player in his position so should be given consideration.

“Lucca is a profile to be watched because he has an imposing physical stature but is also fast,” he explained. “In our league, with these qualities, he can do great things.”

And on Barella, he stated that the 24-year-old Nerazzurri man is one of “the best” young players along with Juventus forward Federico Chiesa.
