Inter could look to bring in Torino defender Armando Izzo during the January transfer window as they look to shore up the defensive options in their squad.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the 29-year-old is among the names that the club are considering as they approach the January window.

Inter are reportedly ready to bring in new signings in January as they look to bolster the team to contend for the Scudetto, and a defender ready to come in and add quality to the backline could be one item on their agenda.

Borussia Monchengladbach’s Matthias Ginter and Malmo’s Anel Ahemdhodzic are among the names who the club are considering, but Izzo is also a serious consideration.

The 29-year-old is yet to become a major part of current Granata boss Ivan Juric’s plans as the Croatian looks to prefer other players in defensive areas, and he could be available as soon as January.
