Ciro Immobile is likely to be ready to make his return from injury for Lazio when Inter travel to face them over the weekend.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the striker has been cleared to return to training after recovering from a muscle injury, while Patric will likely start in defense ahead of the suspended Francesco Acerbi.

Immobile had picked up the muscle problem during the Biancocelesti’s Europa League clash with Lokomotiv Moscow and has spent the past couple weeks recovering but he looks to be close to ready to return.

The Biancocelesti captain will make his return to training after having been given the OK by the club’s medical staff and should soon be ready to come back to the pitch.

Meanwhile, Acerbi is suspended for the match after being sent off in the Biancocelesti’s defeat against Bologna before the international break, and Patric is expected to take his place.
