Former Bologna, Udinese, and Swansea City coach Francesco Guidolin believes that Inter have the right attitude to win trophies after having achieved the Scudetto last season.

Speaking to Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport in an interview published in today’s print edition, the former coach gave his view that the Scudetto win gave the team a winning mentality and also singled out Nerazzurri forward Joaquin Correa for praise.

Inter had shown signs of strength in the seasons leading up to last season’s Serie A title triumph, particularly in the season beforehand in which they pushed Juventus but were unable to go all the way.

Last season the team finally managed to finish the season as the top team in Serie A after having failed to do so in eleven years, and Guidolin believes that this has brought about a change in the mindset of the players who now know what it is like to hold on and win.

Guidolin stated that Inter have great quality “And the awareness of being able to win again, after winning last year. By signing Correa who is infinitely talented, Inter are very strong again.”
