Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi could return from a knee injury soon, though he will likely be unable to come back in time to face Lazio over the weekend.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the 25-year-old is back in partial training with the squad after ligament damage suffered a few weeks ago.

Sensi has been on the sidelines thanks to the knee injury sustained in the Nerazzurri’s match against Sampdoria, when a collision of knees with Sampdoria defender Maya Yoshida forced him to come off the pitch in discomfort.

He has missed several matches while he recovered, but he now looks to be close to being ready to make his return to the pitch.

The midfielder is not expected to be able to be available in the Serie A match against the Biancocelesti on Saturday, but should likely be available to be selected in the matches after.
