Inter are aiming to have the contract extension of midfielder Marcelo Brozovic wrapped up soon, with the Croat a target of a number of major clubs including city rivals AC Milan.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri have made agreeing on a renewal with the 28-year-old a major priority.

Brozovic’s current deal is set to expire at the end of June 2022, and the Nerazzurri want to avoid any possibility of losing him on a free transfer next summer as he is a key player at the club.

The 28-year-old has attracted the interest of a number of clubs especially given his contract status, and the Rossoneri look to be monitoring him as well.

However, the Nerazzurri are determined to find an agreement on a new deal with the midfielder who is thought to be asking for around €6 million net per season, and hope to get the process done soon.
