Inter striker Lautaro Martinez has made clear that he is ready to take to the pitch against Lazio in the Nerazzurri’s first match back from the international break.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Argentine has offered that he will be ready to start the match on Saturday when he is back from international duty.

Martinez still has one more international commitment with the Albiceleste, with Thursday night’s match against Paraguay the third and last World Cup qualifier scheduled in a packed fixture schedule for the break.

The 24-year-old will only be able to make it back to Italy late on Friday where he will reconvene with the rest of the squad in Rome ahead of their Serie A clash with the Biancocelesti after a special chartered flight.

However, the striker wants to be ready for the clash, and has made known that he is prepared to play in the fixture.
