Inter will have a number of key players back in their squad today, with six players coming back from international duty with European national teams.

This according to yesterday’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that a total of six players are set to return to training while Edin Dzeko will be back tomorrow.

Simone Inzaghi will have to wait until the eleventh hour to get back the players on international duty in South America as he looks to prepare for Saturday’s Serie A clash with Lazio, but he can soon work with a number of other players.

The Italians in the squad have already returned following Sunday’s Nations League match, while the likes of Hakan Calhanoglu, Denzel Dumfries, Stefan de Vrij, Marcelo Brozovic, Ivan Perisic, and Milan Skriniar will all be back in training after playing in World Cup qualifiers yesterday.

Dzeko, meanwhile, faces off against Ukraine with Bosnia and Herzgovina this evening, and he will return to the squad tomorrow.
