Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi has four possible options to choose from to start in attack alongside Edin Dzeko against Lazio on Saturday.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the coach is still considering any one of Lautaro Martinez, Hakan Calhanoglu, Stefano Sensi, or Ivan Perisic for the role.

Martinez is one of three South American attackers who will return late for the fixture, and there is doubt over whether the Argentine would be ready to play from the beginning, but he would likely be Dzeko’s first-choice striker partner in normal circumstances.

Meanwhile, Stefano Sensi is close to being ready to return from a knee injury which caused him to miss the past several matches with his club, and could reprise the role that he played as a Number Ten behind Dzeko against Genoa when Martinez was suspended.

Should Sensi not be ready to start, Hakan Calhanoglu is another midfielder who could be entrusted to fill the attacking midfield role instead of him, while wing-back Ivan Perisic has also taken on the role under Antonio Conte at times, as well as late on against Fiorentina this season, and could be handed a role in an attacking pair with Dzeko.
