Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi is close to making a full recovery from the knee injury which has ruled him out of the last several matches for his club.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the 25-year-old has been back in training and that he could be included in the squad to face Lazio next weekend.

Sensi has been dealing with a knee problem which he picked up during a clash of knees with Sampdoria defender Maya Yoshida a few weeks ago and has been absent from the last several matches.

However, he recovery looks close to being complete, as he has been in partial training with the rest of the squad and has given positive responses.

The club will still be careful not to rush him back to action, but a return to the pitch looks to be on the horizon and manager Simone Inzaghi could even call him to for the Serie A match against the Biancocelesti on Saturday.
