Inter boss Simone Inzaghi will apparently be given a warm welcome by the Lazio fans when he returns to the Stadio Olimpico for the first time since leaving the club, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.
As has been reported by Sky Sport today, Simone Inzaghi is expected to take a walk under the Curva where the Lazio Ultras sit in order to show his appreciation for them.
The fans have planned banners for their former coach and any negative opinion of him seems likely to be kept to a minimum.
This may be a major relief to Simone Inzaghi as he left the club in a very unexpected fashion when Antonio Conte walked away from his Inter post in response to Suning’s cost-cutting measures.
The fans seem to have come t terms with his decision though and recognise that he took the team extremely far in his five years at the helm.
