Inter midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu has taken on a minor knock while on international duty with Turkey, but it is not an injury.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the 27-year-old is back with the squad and that he picked up the blow while with the international team but that it should not impact his participation now that he is back with his club.

Calhanoglu and Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko are the last two European internationals to return to the Nerazzurri squad, having played their last World Cup qualifiers against Latvia today and Ukraine yesterday evening respectively.

Both have been carrying out personalized training as they look to re-join the squad in preparation for Saturday’s return to Serie A action against Lazio.

A small physical problem was identified for Calhanoglu, but it does not appear that it will cause him to miss any action with the Nerazzurri.
