Italian football journalist Mario Sconcerti has explained that he is expecting Inter striker Lautaro Martinez to be on the pitch from minute one against Lazio on Saturday evening, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Whilst speaking to TMW, Mario Sconcerti suggested that the game is far too important to rest players for and that the best possible eleven must be used by Simone Inzaghi.

“I believe that the strength of the Nerazzurri are the two forwards. As far as he can risk, Inzaghi will risk. Without Lautaro and Dzeko it is another team. I expect Lautaro Martinez to start from the first minute, it is too important a game for both.”

Speaking of the wider Serie A title race, Mario Sconcerti exclaimed that Inter simply cannot drop points against Lazio because Napoli are playing so well.

The Partinopei have won all of the fixtures so far and they have a more favourable fixture this weekend than Inter. They will host Torino.

“They cannot lose points, Napoli are showing an overwhelming pace and have a favourable home game.”

Inter are currently only four points behind Napoli after seven games but if the weekend goes badly, they could suddenly be seven points adrift and the psychological pressures of chasing the leader will set in.
