Juventus striker Alvaro Morata is aiming to be fit again in time for the match against Simone Inzaghi’s Inter in late October after a period on the sidelines, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Sky Sport, the Spanish striker has been out of action since September 26th when he suffered a hamstring injury on his right leg during a match against Sampdoria.

He will be out for Juventus’s big match against AS Roma this weekend and their Champions League fixture the following midweek against Zenit St.Petersburg in Russia.

The date that the club are focusing on for his return is October 24th which is when Inter will welcome the Bianconeri to San Siro for arguably the biggest game of the season so far.

Inter will be hoping that Juventus are still beneath them in the Serie A standings at that stage of the season.
