The entourage of Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic will meet with Inter representatives today in order to try and agree on a  new contract for the Croatian, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported today by Tuttosport, Marcelo Brozovic’s father, who is also his agent, as well as his lawyer will be searching for a deal in the region of €6-6.5 million per season for their client, with a duration of four years.

That would keep Marcelo Brozovic at the club during his prime years on a wage that is more representative of his importance to the team.

The player is very happy in Milan and he has business interests in the city that are a major factor in him wanting to remain at the club.

If a deal cannot be struck though, he will be able to leave the club in 2022 for free which will be a major blow to Inter.
